Strip anode is mainly used for the corrosion protection of seawater structure, Pilings, Piers, Jetties and floating vessels etc. Typically these anodes are used in the protection of Seawater Application. Strip anode is a key component for Cathodic Protection systems in seawater structures. It is composed of a precious metal mixed oxide catalyst in the titanium plates by thermal process.

Titanium strip anodes are manufactured using titanium ASTM B 265 Gr. 1 or 2, Coated with Platinum group precious metal mixed oxide coating. MMO coating consists of Ir and Ta and it is suitable for use in all cathodic protection applications. Because mixed metal oxide anodes have an extremely low consumption rate, the titanium substrate remains constant throughout the design life of the anode. The leading anti-corrosion & uniform current distribution characters, it have good physical and mechanical properties of titanium. MMO coated anodes are strongly recommended for Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) application. We also manufactured and supplied FRP Insulated Strip anode for various customers.
