Corrosion is naturally a destructive process that occurs when some metals are exposed to the environment and occurs when reaction between air, moisture and the metal gives rise. Cathodic protection systems are mostly employed in various industries to prevent the corrosion in fuel pipelines, piers, underground pipelines, water storage tanks etc. The corrosion can be prevented using MMO coated anodes or platinum plated anodes which has good resistant from protecting the pipelines, ship hulls, tanks from corrosion.
